Marquee home theatre collection from Origin Acoustics at ISE 2019
The new Marquee collection from Origin Acoustics will be introduced at ISE 2019. Origin Acoustics, an architectural loudspeaker designer and audio manufacturer, will feature models of various configurations for the Marquee collection at ISE, which runs 5-8 February in Amsterdam.
The front channel speakers from the Marquee range feature dual 8” woofers and dual 5” midrange drivers as part of their driver configuration. Mounted in steel baffle, the drivers make part of a sealed aluminium enclosure. The speakers also have the option of slatted wood grilles or perforated metal. Smaller versions are also available, useful for smaller theatres or side and rear surround.
Marquee in-ceiling speakers blend well with front-channel counterparts for Atmos height or surround channels. They feature a high-output, 10”, treated paper woofer with a 3” midrange and a 1” titanium dome tweeter. The in-ceiling speakers are flexible and have timber matched to the front channels.

Every woofer is powered by the new SUBA1000 DSP amp and has a signal channel of 1000W. The Marquee woofers are designed to be pairs, and come with digital signal processing.
Origin Acoustics director of product development Mike Hopkins says, “Developing Marquee has been a labour of love. Exotic drivers, unique enclosures and premium parts throughout have resulted in a system that is impressive.”
Origin Acoustics’ distributor in Australia and New Zealand is Connected Media.
