“CINEMA 30 represents a statement of excellence for Marantz in the AVR category and one of the most sophisticated designs the team has created in its 70-year history,” Masimo Consumer luxury performance audio group president Dave Sheen says.

“I cannot wait to hear how it is received by our loyal customers and specialist reviewers.”

Built around a symmetrical, monolithic amplifier design, the CINEMA 30 AVR amplifier channels are mounted on a separate PCB exactly opposite the power supplies, enabling the amplifier section to deliver instantaneous low-distortion power.

In total, the audio/video receiver provides 11 channels of amplification, and the capabilities to provide professional integrators with 13.4 channels of processing via a selectable pre-amp mode that supports the addition of an outboard amplifier.

Powered by the Analog Devices and ESS Sabre internal components, the CINEMA 30 can deliver a choice of formats that include Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, DTS:X Pro and Auro 3D and offers Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room optimisation software and the option of Dirac Live room calibration platform.

Supporting a range of media content, the receiver incorporates seven HDMI inputs that are compatible with 8K video. Other features include Masimo Consumer’s HEOS whole-house audio platform, along with Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2 and wireless Bluetooth connectivity.

The CINEMA 30 AVR is also capable of integrating into voice control platforms such as Amazon Alexa and HomePod Voice Assistant.

Marantz’s Cinema 30 is currently available for order.
