MadisonAV will host WiFi and Auracast HiFi assistive listening sessions for the next generation of assistive listening solutions, Bettear WiFi and Auracast HiFi solutions.

Auracast allows people with hearing impairments to stream audio directly to their devices to experience immersive experiences in cultural venues such as museums, theatres, convention centres and more. The audience can simply enjoy the moment using their own smartphones and hearing devices, with no extra equipment.

Hosted at the Integrate 2024 expo in the ICC, Sydney, AUDIOropa Germany sales manager Stefan Lenke will launch Bettear’s Auracast product range, providing a detailed overview of the technologies and products that will provide accessible and immersive audio experiences in public spaces with ease.

Bettear SHOW connects directly to the audio source, such as a microphone or a sound console, effectively sampling the sound in real-time while overcoming reverberant environments and background noise. Through the Bettear App, it distributes the audio over a designated WiFi network to personal smartphones with the audio streamed directly to the user’s hearing aids, cochlear implants or any other earpiece/accessory.

Venues and integrators will also benefit from a local and cloud-based monitoring and maintenance dashboard compatibility across hearing aids, cochlear implants and headphones of all types, as well as the option to provide an easy-to-use receiver for non-smartphone users.

The audio output can be easily tailored to the listener’s preferences without any technical expertise required by the user. With additional features such as live transcription, dynamic latency and automatic gain control, users will enjoy superior listening experiences.

The session will run on Wednesday, 21 August from 10 to 11am and Thursday, 22 August from 1 to 2pm.

For more information and to register, visit the Wednesday or Thursday sessions pages on the Eventbrite website.
