Luxman, distributed by Audio Active Australia, has released the NT-07 network transport, a specialised solution that enables the playback of a wide range of digitally based audio files, including streaming media.

Combining the latest digital audio technology with Luxman’s know-how, the NT-07 uses a thoroughly audio-focused approach to curate various available sources with sound quality and a sophisticated yet comforting operational environment.

“The NT-07 accepts sound files from local storage and music streaming services via Ethernet, USB and HDMI provides comprehensive playback control, then outputs audio to any external digital-to-analogue converter,” Luxman president Jeff Sigmund says.

“As Luxman begins celebrating our 100th anniversary heading into 2025, we’re offering the Luxman NT-07 solution to all audio enthusiasts as a component allowing musical enjoyment with more depth and variety than ever before.”

In addition to USB digital audio and HDMI connectivity, streaming data from NAS and other popular music streaming services provides a variety of options for the listener to experience a dimension of breathtaking audio quality. The NT-07, which has been rigorously fine-tuned for supreme audio playback quality, offers all listeners a new musical experience for the future in combination with existing D/A converters.

Internally, the NT-07 Network Transport utilises circuitry, power supply and chassis layouts the company says are carefully considered. Luxman engineers identified and reduced all noise sources to arrive at the product’s design choices. The core stages feature Luxman’s latest generation of high-speed application processor modules.

These components provide the speed and power to handle complex operations. The robust power supply section is fitted with a custom high-capacity transformer and special 10,000 µF filter capacitors. This highly regulated design maximises stability while minimising noise, according to Luxman America.
