Lumens introduces VC-TR41 with advanced AI automation for hands-free video production
Lumens Digital Optics, distributed by Corsair Solutions in Australia, has introduced the VC-TR41, a next-generation PTZ camera that expands on the VC-TR40 with significant advances in automated video production.
While the VC-TR40 helped establish Lumens as an early leader in AI-driven human detection and motion tracking, the new VC-TR41 pushes further by integrating automation features designed to streamline the entire capture-to-delivery workflow.

The VC-TR41 is a 20x HD PTZ camera equipped with Zoom certification, reliable AI motion tracking and full compatibility with Lumens’ CamConnect multi-camera voice-tracking system.
With IP, HDMI, SDI and USB outputs for flexible AV transmission, the unit also introduces Intelligent Director mode, enabling automated multi-angle video production for education, judicial environments and meeting spaces that increasingly rely on hands-free recording.
When paired with a Lumens LC300 series four-channel media processor, the VC-TR41 can operate in two advanced AI modes. In Presenter Tracking mode, the camera automatically follows a speaker across a stage or teaching area.
In Audience Tracking mode, the camera shifts focus to participants who stand to engage with the presenter, while the LC300 instantly switches to capture the interaction. The combined system creates a seamless, automated multi-camera workflow without operator intervention.
“Recording and streaming events is now a requirement for many public sector, educational, democratic and judicial bodies. VC-TR41 ensures that organisations of all size can adopt video production without the need for an experienced crew,” Lumens head of video production Steven Liang says.
“Lumens’ drive towards automation is designed to simplify the process of producing, recording and streaming video.”
Working together, the VC-TR41 and LC300 deliver high-quality multi-channel productions with effects, graphics and overlays, all optimised for integration with Panopto and Kaltura content management systems as well as major streaming platforms. The solution supports live and on-demand delivery, along with secure archiving for organisations that need reliable, compliant video workflows.
