Comprising of Linn’s Exakt technology, the Linn Exakt Akudorik measures and corrects even the tiniest variations between drive units, meaning that every system to leave the factory will perform just as it was intended to by the designers.

Part of the Linn Exakt Akudorik’s compact speaker design is attributed to the stand which houses all of the electronics used to create the speaker. With a sleek column design, the electronics are safe inside a suspension-mounted module that resists vibrations and also features cooling fins to passively cool the electronics. The speakers take their name from the columns as the ‘Dorik’ part refers to the stand, after the doric columns used in ancient Greek and Roman architecture.

The bass driver built in to the Linn Exakt Akudorik uses a high quality doped paper cone with a symmetrical balanced motor assembly to apply even force to the coil in both directions of movement, ensuring precisely controlled bass performance with just the right air flow at low and high frequencies to get the party started. The system also boasts Linn’s Dynamik power supply and four channels of 100W Linn Chakra amplification.

With the Exakt eco-system, you can expect a listening experience without distortions. Using a unique recessed 8-way connector, the Linn Exakt Akudorik carries the audio signals from the stand to the loudspeaker, while eliminating distortions of passive crossover technology and optimising signals for the speaker and individual driver characteristics which allows you to individually alter the system for a more incredible performance. Therefore, delivering a more faithful reproduction of the music as it was recorded.

Similar to getting your piano tuned, the Linn Exakt Akudorik is installed by a professional who finely tunes it to give you the best performance possible. As well as an individualised touch, you get an independent volume control, digital analogue converter and power amplifier for every channel, making up four for each of the Linn Exakt Akudorik’s speakers.

You can also hook up the Linn Exakt Akudorik to your vinyl player and take advantage of the new DAC technology, which boasts the ability to convert delicate analogue signals found in vinyl records to digital signals, all without the need of an external converter. Plug it in and turn it up, the Linn Exakt Akudorik can work with up to 13 inputs including HDMI, Toslink, S/PDIF, XLR and an RCA phono connector available thanks to the built in Akurate Exakt DSM.

The Linn Exakt Akudorik speaker cabinet has been created with a gently curved cabinet, whilst being constructed with a complex composite of steam-moulded layers of MDF and Birchwood, which provides audio lovers with excellent damping characteristics.

Finished by hand, the Linn Exakt Akudorik is available in a range of finishes with a choice between six high-grade real wood veneers in standard or high gloss options (black, rosenut, cherry, walnut, oak and white.

The Linn Exakt Akudorik system can also be further personalised through the choice of polished chrome, or black finishes for the chassis of the 3K array.
