The BD390 boasts all the same core functionalities of the BD370 model but takes performance and connectivity a step further featuring integrated wireless home networking for easy connection to the home network and 1GB of built-in memory, offering consumers an easier option for enjoying BD-Live content from their favourite Blu-ray movies without the need for a flash drive.

Integrated Wi-Fi Connectivity provides convenient connectivity to wireless home networks, delivering BD-Live features to rooms where even wired broadband connections cannot reach. Simply connect BD390 to a broadband home network through the built-in Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet port.

“With LG, consumers do not have to compromise flexible entertainment options for exceptional sound and picture quality,” said Stan Bilinski, Senior Category Marketing Manager, LG Electronics Australia. “Whether it’s through new content or a wireless connection, our new Network Blu-ray Disc Player allows consumers to personalise their entertainment experience.”

Offering unlimited access to online content, LG’s alliance with YouTube allow consumers to instantly stream millions of Web videos directly from the Internet to an LG Network Blu-ray Player for viewing on their television*. Easy searching, thumbnail previews and multiple screen size viewing options will allow consumers to enjoy endless video content from current events to viral videos at the touch of a button.

Outstanding Full HD 1080p resolution and 1080p up-scaling via HDMI output provides the ultimate in picture quality whilst BD390’s Cinema Mode results in superior video performance with highly accurate 1080p at 24 or 60 frames per second. Discrete 7.1 channel audio outputs allow for exceptional connectivity and performance for compatibility with a variety of audio and video receivers.

Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus and dts-HD Advanced Digital Out technologies deliver high bit-rate audio sound. As a result, the amazing sound is bit-for-bit identical to the studio master, unlocking a truly high-definition entertainment experience from next-generation discs.

Enhanced versatility is another strong point of the BD390, which can play a variety of formats from different media. Compatible file formats include DivX, MPEG2, MPEG4, video, JPEG, MP3, HD Divx and WMA file formats. These can be stored on optical media like CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs or on USB memory.
