Legrand demonstrates Galaxy, Arteor with Netatmo at CES
Making its fifth appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Legrand – the parent company of Arteor, NuVo, Middle Atlantic, Raritan and Luxul (among many others), released a raft of new connected experiences, which are “designed to make the performance of everyday tasks easier and more flexible for as many people as possible”.
This year, Legrand Australia’s Connected Emergency Lighting System, Galaxy, was among the innovations on show, which has put the Australian business’ capabilities for developing IoT solutions within the commercial sector on the global map.

Three years after the launch of the company’s ambitious Eliot program, Legrand has propelled forward with ongoing IoT innovations, ensuring the user experience remains the primary focus.
GALAXY
Developed and manufactured in Australia, and released to the market in July last year, Legrand launched the market’s leading commercial IoT Emergency Lighting solution, GALAXY: the Connected Emergency Lighting System, a state of the art emergency lighting monitoring system for smart buildings.
The expansion of the company’s IoT portfolio from residential into commercial solutions illustrates how the business is adapting the rapidly evolving technological advances of today’s connected world. These changes have transformed the electrical industry and are a major game-changer for electrical contractors in the field.
ARTEOR
Arteor with Netatmo also took centre stage at CES, as Legrand Australia unveiled its first in-wall smart switches and power outlets solution designed for the connected home. While Arteor is renowned for its collection of light switches, dimmers, power, audio, video, data and USB sockets, this is only the beginning – Arteor is set to proliferate the home automation sector with the introduction of this cutting-edge IoT solution, which will be released in March this year.
