Krix has launched the MX-40i, a set of speakers that sit behind an acoustically transparent screen in medium-to-large, dedicated home cinemas.

Building on the MX-40 range, the latest model introduces upgraded high-performance subwoofer modules engineered for true infrasonic reproduction with remarkable control, output and realism.

High frequencies are delivered via Krix’s 90×40° short-throw horn and powered by a high-frequency compression driver. The system features a five-module design, each identical in height with a slim-line depth for streamlined installation within a single cavity.

The upgraded subwoofer modules aim to provide ultra-low infrasonic performance, producing tactile bass that end users can physically feel
