Kordz releases new range of Active Optical Cables
Kordz, distributed by Advance Audio, has released a new range of Active Optical Cables (AOC) that supports lengths between 10-30m and 4K UHD 18 Gbps as certified by DPL Labs.
What’s really exciting is that previously to be able to get 18Gbps over lengths longer than 5 to 10m, customers had to shell out thousands of dollars to buy active head HDMI cables. These cables are extremely affordable, and in some cases, even cheaper than HDBaseT or AV over IP solutions.
