The ONE Series CAT6 RJ45 and CAT6A RJ45 field termination connectors are being released by Kordz at ISE 2019. The connectors make it easy to quickly and efficiently terminate wires of any length, simplifying the installation process.

Kordz managing director James Chen says both connectors have been precision engineered.

“We know what a tough job installers have, so the last thing they need is connectivity issues arising from poor cabling and connectors. Even with something as small as an RJ45 plug, it’s important that these are designed and manufactured correctly, otherwise the connection will inevitably affect the signal integrity. With total reliability from Kordz, it’s one thing less for installers to worry about.”

The ONE-RJ45 CAT 6 push-through site termination connectors work with both solid and stranded cable, eight pins (gold plated) and eight conductors. Large cable openings reduce the distance between the wires and contacts, creating optimal performance and reliable connections every time. The Kordz Pass Through CAT6 connectors are designed for fast RJ45 connector installations. Conductors easily pass through the RJ45 connector for fast and easy verification of wire sequence.

The ONE-RJ45 CAT6A version complies fully with ISO/IEC 11801 2.2 Edition Category 6a and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6A Standards. It is engineered for applications up to 10GBase-T Ethernet and is designed to exceed the industry standard frequency of 500Mhz. Designed and engineered for site termination and installation ease, it offers a fully shielded brass nickel-plated base, bronze nickel-plated cover and gold-plated phosphor bronze contact pins. It is suitable for cable diameters between 6mm and 8.5mm, while the strain relief is provided by the compression nut on the back of the connector.
