Konnected has debuted three new smart home products at the CEDIA Expo 2019 including the Konnected Alarm Panel 2, the Alarm Panel Pro and the Alarm Panel INTERFACE. On top of this, it has launched a dealer program and its own Android and iOS apps.

The Konnected Alarm Panel 2 leverages existing wired home security systems and turns them into smart home platforms. My replacing the motherboard of any alarm system, the Konnected Alarm Panel 2 lets users monitor and control all of their alarm system sensors and sirens.

All this is accessible through existing platforms such as SmartThings, Home Assistant, Hubitat, OpenHAB and more.

This is the company’s first hardware upgrade to its original alarm panel product which launched on Kickstarter in late 2017. The latest product adds integrated and improved WiFi, improved build quality and built-in lighting and short circuit protection.

Another product introduced at the CEDIA Expo was the Alarm Panel Pro; a larger, more powerful version of the Konnected Alarm Panel featuring WiFi, Ethernet and PoE capability and support for 12 wired zones.

Also new, the Alarm Panel INTERFACE is an add-on module that works in conjunction with either of the two latest products to interface the product in parallel with traditional wired alarm systems. This product lets users keep their existing alarm system while gaining home automation capabilities.

The dealer program will make it even easier for customers to align with experienced professionals to achieve their home monitoring and automation goals.
