At an IT conference Ruslan recently announced that 30% of JB Hi-Fi’s sales were Apple products and related accessories such as covers and cables. He also predicted that Apple will soon pull out of “bricks and mortar” retailers and start selling direct to the consumer only.

JB Hi-Fi chief executive Terry Smart announced that the claim was incorrect but but did not provide any evidence and did not disclose what percentage of JB Hi-Fi’s sales are attributed to Apple and related products.

Ruslan has challenged Terry Smart to a $1,000,000 bet that on March 14th 2014 there will not be any Apple hardware products for sale at JB Hi-Fi stores.
