Siemens Switzerland’s Klaus Wächter will take on the role of vice president, striving as a leading KNX expert with 17 years of extensive experience.

Jean-Christophe says his list of priorities includes a commitment to rejuvenate the KNX image.

“We want KNX to be synonymous with ‘peace-of-mind’ to end-customers, KNX partners and manufacturers. With buildings representing 37% of CO2 emissions, KNX is reinforcing its energy management capabilities to complement its automation solutions for buildings and homes.”

Klaus will bring much experience to his vice president role as Siemens Smart Infrastructure global standardisation manager.

“As a standardisation manager, heavily involved with IoT standardisation, I look forward to helping define the future of KNX technology and KNX IoT in the coming years.”
