KEF has unveiled the LS LUXE, its flagship wireless HiFi speaker system developed in collaboration with industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, combining sculptural design with KEF’s latest acoustic technologies.

Designed to blur the line between premium audio equipment and functional art, the LS LUXE features a sculpted cabinet available in Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black and Mineral White, with optional floor stands and accessories designed to complement high-end residential interiors.

At the heart of the system is KEF’s 12th-generation 6.5” Uni-Q driver featuring Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which absorbs 99% of unwanted rear sound from the tweeter to reduce distortion and deliver a wider listening sweet spot.

The LS LUXE also debuts Velocity Control Technology (VECO), a closed-loop system that continuously monitors driver movement and makes real-time corrections through a dedicated amplifier to improve bass accuracy and minimise distortion.

“True luxury doesn’t announce itself. It transforms the atmosphere of a space, blending design excellence and acoustic mastery in a way that feels both immersive and effortless,” KEF president and head of global marketing Grace Lo says.

Internally, each speaker combines a 100W Class AB amplifier with a 280W Class D amplifier, supported by KEF’s proprietary Music Integrity Engine (MIE) digital signal processing to maintain clarity, tonal balance and detail across all listening volumes.

For wireless streaming, the LS LUXE is built on KEF’s W2 Wireless Platform, supporting high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/384kHz, alongside services including TIDAL, Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer, as well as Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay and Google Cast.

The speakers also offer a wide range of wired connectivity options, including HDMI eARC, analogue, optical and coaxial inputs, plus dedicated subwoofer outputs for system expansion.

Users can configure and fine-tune the system through the KEF Connect app, with both guided and advanced setup modes, automatic Room EQ calibration and custom EQ adjustments.

The LS LUXE is complemented by a range of optional accessories, including S-LUXE floor stands with integrated cable management, the K-Stream high-resolution interspeaker cable and the KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter for cable-free integration with KEF subwoofers.
