Just Add Power will exhibit its award-winning AV-over-IP solutions at Bar & Restaurant Expo, March 27-29 in Las Vegas.

The company will showcase how it’s making it incredibly simple and affordable for bars and restaurants to build a video system design that supports the transmission of video signals in up to high-quality 4K UHD over the network, HDCP 2.2, ultra-low latency, multi-channel audio output, and more with its family of 2GΩ/3G Ultra HD Over IP transmitters and receivers along with its ST1 sound transceiver.

Just Add Power’s sales team manager, Taft Stricklin, says: “With our AV-over-IP platform, any business in the industry can feel empowered to carve out an AV system that completes their vision — whether that’s one screen or hundreds of screens. The solutions are proven to enhance the guest experience and are installed at a multitude of well-known places.”

The Just Add Power 2GΩ/3G Ultra HD Over IP platform is perfectly suited to the hospitality industry. The company’s range of transmitters and receivers lets businesses build a video distribution system of networked AV devices that is scalable, reliable, economical, and easily controllable. The AV-over-IP products can: distribute multiple sources with ultra-low latency to hundreds of screens, create stunning video walls and digital signage, and combine multiple video feeds onto a single screen.

The 3G Ultra family is designed for any size project needing 4K and Ultra HD distribution. These solutions distribute HDCP 2.2 content to multiple displays via HDMI 2.0 or over a 1GB network.

Just Add Power’s 2GΩ/3G devices fit seamlessly into a 1080p or 4K matrix, allowing integrators to add a VGA, SDI, TVI or, HDMI 1080p source to a 4K system; expand a legacy 2G system; or build a new 1080p system with all the latest features. The line-up of transmitters distributes HDCP 1.4 content to multiple HDMI displays over a 1GB network. The built-in scaler on the receiver allows for seamless display on both 1080p and lower screens. For increased affordability and modularity, Just Add Power’s 3G, 3G+AVP, 2GΩ/3G, and 2GΩ/3G+ models can be mixed and matched without sacrificing enhanced functionality, such as audio extraction, downmix from Dolby 5.1, and CEC control in zones.

By offering new devices that are compatible with previous systems and providing free firmware updates when innovations break, Just Add Power respects and continuously supports end-users’ technology investment.

To address the increasing need for flexible audio support in bar and restaurant AV design, Just Add Power will also demonstrate its ST1 at the show. The ST1 can function as an input or output, allowing integrators to add a stereo audio source easily to any Just Add Power system, or to extract stereo audio from an existing transmitter.

Any audio source with an analogue audio out — a TV, Sonos amp, CD player, microphone, and more — can be connected and played on any receiver. As an audio output, the transceiver can play any stereo audio content from any Just Add Power device while providing variable audio control. This allows for unique functionality, such as sending analogue audio from a display to the main rack without running an extra network cable.

Integrators also can mix audio and video in new and unique ways. For example, they can provide their clients with the ability to watch sporting events while listening to radio commentary, give a presentation by mixing PC video with microphone audio, or even add an audio return channel.
