Just Add Power (J+P) has announced its Switch Please web application at CEDIA 2017.

Part of the company’s approach to IP video distribution, the free Switch Please app is based on the switch configuration of the installation. As a result, installers and end-users can easily switch J+P video matrices of any size from any PC or mobile device.

“The dynamic nature of today’s entertainment setup means more displays and video sources than ever before, but that shouldn’t complicate the user control experience,” said J+P sales team manager Taft Stricklin.

“The Switch Please application builds upon J+P’s legacy of delivering solutions that affordably solve these video distribution complexities and makes the experience more enjoyable, sustainable, and reliable.”

The system eases setup by producing control options based on the switch configuration of the installation. Once installed, Switch Please allows installers and end-users the ability to use the Image Pull feature for live video preview, custom name sources and displays, and show/hide displays and sources on the app interface.

Switch Please works on all 2G and 3G products with a free firmware update, adding value to systems regardless of how old they are.
