Josh.ai is celebrating its eleventh year in business, marking more than a decade of growth and innovation in the smart home sector since its founding in 2015.

The milestone highlights the Josh.ai’s evolution from a privacy-focused voice assistant into a broader home control platform, now supporting a wide range of automation capabilities across connected environments.

To coincide with the anniversary, Josh.ai has released a limited-edition version of its Josh Edge remote in a new Lunar Gray finish. Produced in small quantities, the special edition is being offered exclusively to existing dealers as part of the company’s anniversary promotion.

Josh Edge represents the company’s latest hardware platform, combining physical controls with AI-driven functionality. Updates to the device introduce natural language configuration, allowing users to assign functions to buttons through voice commands rather than manual programming.

This enables users to create custom controls or activate scenes by simply instructing the system, removing the need for pre-configured setups and streamlining installation and everyday use.

Over the past eleven years, Josh.ai has expanded its footprint across North America, building a network of more than 2,300 certified dealers and supporting integration with hundreds of brands and thousands of devices.
