JL Audio Gotham subwoofer
Built in six stages at JL Audio’s Florida factory, each Gotham cabinet requires one full month to fabricate from beginning to end and is constructed entirely out of fibreglass, using proprietary moulding and damping technologies.
Further, each unit receives nine coats of high-gloss polyester finish and is hand sanded and polished. The level of craftsmanship involved is very much like that in a very high-quality piece of furniture.
The Gotham features variable slope, frequency low-pass filter, and phase control, a polarity switch, an extreme low-frequency trim control and a fully automatic room equalisation system called A.R.O.
