It’s plain sailing for Crestron in Marine endeavor

Crestron is taking to the high seas as it gets ready to launch its new Crestron Marine Program that will provide huge advantages to shipbuilders, specifiers and Electrical Technical Officers.

The company will authorise a number of its dealers as Crestron Authorised Marine Dealers as it sets a course for a very specialised marketplace.

It will provide: specialised Crestron Marine training; global 24/7/365 specialised support; dedicated tech sales number and Help Ids to provide prompt attention and advanced knowledge; global product availability assurance; a five-year warranty; and specialised shipping support for new products and replacements anywhere in the world.

Crestron vice president of the residential sector John Clancy says: “We are in the final steps of creating and launching this program, working to build a network of only the most qualified and experience marine dealers. We are extremely excited to be improving this important business sector and will be making an official announcement about our authorised marine dealers very soon.”

Crestron has appointed industry veteran Daniel Kerkhof to lead the Marine Division.

John adds: “As regional manager Benelux at Crestron EMEA, Daniel played an integral role in helping Crestron capture the dominant share of the super yacht automation market, making him the ideal person to lead Crestron Marine.”
