Performing the opposite AV distribution task are the new 4 and 8-port HDMI AV splitters which take AV signals from a single HDMI source and direct it to as many as eight separate HDTVs or displays with 3D support. Also HDCP compliant, the splitters support the highest quality HD video and multi-channel digital audio; enabling the splitting of HD, non-HD or 3D content from DVR/Set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, computers and other devices. Both models also offer cascading up to three levels with the 4-port version supporting 64 HDMI signals and the 8-port supporting up to 512 HDMI signals.

Also available is the rack-mountable AVIOR GHMS8044 4×4 HD AV Matrix Switch with RS-232 and multi-channel digital audio. This important accessory connects up to four full HD 1080p source devices and routes them to any of four connected HD displays. The four HDMI inputs allow devices such as Blu-ray/DVD players, DVRs, cable boxes and media servers to cross switch between devices or split a single source in mirror mode to as many as four HDMI equipped HD displays.

The GHMS8044 supports Full HD 1080p and 3D with HDCP compliance along with Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio for a total high-end matrix switching install solution. Individual sources are accessible for switching, cross switching or setting to mirror mode by convenient front panel pushbutton, IR remote, or by the RS232 port for total professional control.
