In a statement, they say: “After many weeks of talking to the industry and consulting with our partners regarding suitable rescheduled dates in Q4, we have made the difficult decision that at this present time, in the interest of the health and safety of our community, cancellation is unavoidable.”

Praising the strength and resilience of the AV community, they add: “What we are experiencing is new territory for everyone so strong judgement, market knowledge and responsible planning are crucial to managing the situation. As always, our aim is to provide a platform for our industry to grow, learn and do business safely.”

They say they will look to adapt and introduce new opportunities for connection in the coming months with the company’s online presence being enhanced in the coming weeks.

“It is fortunate that we live in an age of technology that allows us to conduct business remotely and in this new social distancing world we are in, we will look to build on our already established and successful digital communications. Our Convergence newsletter, dedicated emails and website will continue to be a channel through which the entire industry can connect and share.”
