Occupying 17,000m² of exhibition space on one floor, the event will be a good opportunity for AV dealers, distributors, designers and systems integrators and consultants to find not only new products but also new manufacturers. They can also connect with Asian end users as 44% of the attendees in the 2008 event came from the end user markets.

With the Asia Pacific region overtaking Europe as the second largest pro AV market in the world, according to an InfoComm International market survey, InfoComm Asia 2010 will be a valuable source of new contacts and education for AV professionals in Asia.

The survey shows that Asia Pacific accounts for 25% (or $16.8 billion) of global sales, and forecasts the region to be the fastest growing over the next three years, at a CAGR of 13% vs 9% CAGR projected for Europe and North America. By 2012, the Asia Pacific pro AV market is expected to reach $23.9 billion, with China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, together having the largest share (32%) of the market. The Indian subcontinent market accounts for 9%, but is the fastest growing at a CAGR of 23% between 2009 and 2012 (vs 14% for larger China), with a projected size of $2.66 billion by 2012.
