Ihiji will showcase many exciting updates to the Invision Mobile App, alongside a host of powerful additions and enhancements to the award-winning Ihiji Invision platform in stand 6-M170 during Integrated Systems Europe, being held in Amsterdam, February 7-10, 2017.

As more technology professionals rely on Ihiji Invision to run their daily service operations, the need to provide field technicians with streamlined access to the tools has grown. Enter the Ihiji Invision Mobile App, a faster and more convenient way to access the Ihiji Invision remote network management platform.

Debuting during ISE 2017, the updated Ihiji Invision Mobile App for iPhone and Android features streamlined power management functionality for Power Distribution Units (PDU), Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) and Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches with no annual fee, making technicians’ already busy lives that much easier. Additionally, new features and functionality such as device and site status have been added to the App.

“Dealers have increasingly relied on remote service and support through Ihiji Invision to manage their systems and provide a world-class customer service experience. Technology professionals can now use the Ihiji Invision Mobile App to remotely manage products from a variety of manufacturers in one simple interface while on the go. For instance, power management products can be easily rebooted from the Ihiji Invision Mobile App, putting efficiency gains at the tip of the technician’s finger,” says Ihiji Co-Founder and VP of Product Michael Maniscalco.

With the introduction of the new and free-of-charge Ihiji Invision Lite service tier, technology professionals can now rely on Ihiji Invision as their “Universal Remote Control” for remote reboots of IP-based Power Distribution Units (PDU), Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), and Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches. By waiving all fees associated with Ihiji Invision power management functionality, Ihiji makes it easy for field technicians to take advantage of the platform’s power-related product integrations for customers with an Ihiji network appliance and, in turn, simplify their already busy lives. Technicians can reboot almost any power device from within the Invision interface and its simplified, singular dashboard, reducing truck rolls and increasing efficiency.

“We realize that a technology professional often supports a number of IP power and PoE network products in the field and experiences constraints like customer budget, product availability, or just a change in preferred manufacturer. With Ihiji Invision Lite, technicians can manage any power device from a unified interface, removing much of the complexity from remote support. Adding our mobile app and free power management functionality to the Ihiji Invision service is a big win for technology professionals,” says Michael Maniscalco, Co-Founder and VP of Product at Ihiji.

Providing technicians with visibility and access into a wide variety of brands and types of equipment, coupled with powerful Ihiji Invision network performance monitoring and remote tunneling capabilities, creates an invaluable tool that helps integrators save money, deliver a superior level of service to their customers, and lay the groundwork to generate recurring monthly revenue through service contracts.
