HoverCam strengthens sales and support team

In a move to help companies and educational institutes affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, HoverCam has reallocated its sales and support team, dedicating more resources to meet the needs of teachers and employees working from home.

On top of that, HoverCam has made a range of short videos available on its distance learning website to speed up setup and maximise the benefits of its document cameras and the free Flex 11 software.

“While distance learning and remote work opportunities have been on the rise for years, we recognise that today’s circumstances accelerated this trend. Teachers and employees are having to mobilise quickly and leverage new technology to stay productive,” HoverCam chief executive Ji Shen says.

“We are reinforcing our commitment to meeting the needs of teachers and employees by helping them host effective and engaging remote classrooms and meeting rooms.

“With intuitive engagement tools, integration with leading video conferencing platforms, as well as our knowledgeable and responsive support teams, we hope to not only smooth this transition but help build a system our customers can continue to use for years to come.”

The document cameras are compatible with many video conferencing and collaboration platforms, including Zoom, Google Hangouts, GradeCam, Microsoft Teams and Skype. The updated Flex 11 software includes whiteboard functionality and improved screen recording so that screen-recorded videos play back smoothly.
