As businesses and consumers diversify their security desires with the growth of IoT and smart home systems, Synnex Australia has signed a deal with Honeywell to distribute the company’s range of surveillance solutions in Australia.

Honeywell products include building and asset protection, alarm communications and building monitoring. The company is equipped to service all sized business and has specialist offerings for retail, banking, finance, government, military and utility sectors.

Synnex Australia product director Yu Chen Liao says Honeywell will bring world-class security systems to the Australian market.

“Honeywell is well-known in the market as an expert in security surveillance technology providing strong solutions to all vertical markets,” he says.

“Honeywell is an ideal vendor to help extend our holistic security solutions to new and existing partners in the region.”

Honeywell Security and Fire general manager Stephen Higgins says Synnex Australia will reinforce the company’s commitment to strengthening to security sector in the A/NZ region.

“The agreement will enable Honeywell to expand its reach and better support customers in the region, particularly in the IT sector, which makes up 30% of the IP surveillance market.”

Integrators can customise Honeywell’s solutions to meet the individual needs of their clients and can use the simplified management platform to implement security solutions that will provide the greatest organisational protection.
