Hisense sound bar

Hisense Australia has announced that it is focussing on the audio channel in 2019 with the launch of a sound bar range that will be hitting the market this year.

This includes the introduction of Dolby Atmos across its entire 4K ULED TV range as well as the integration of dbx-tv technology in its 100” 4K Ultra HD Smart Dual Colour Laser TV with HDR, which features JBL Cinema Sound that incorporates a wireless subwoofer.

“At Hisense we continue to innovate with the latest technologies to provide our Australian consumers with the ultimate at-home cinematic experience,” says Hisense Australia head of marketing at Andre Iannuzzi.

“This year, we’ve put an even greater emphasis on sound to ensure we can deliver on this and the introduction of the sound bar range is yet another example of how we are responding to consumer demand.”

The sound bar offering includes a 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos with 11 built-in speakers with four upward-firing drivers to ensure sound comes from all directions, including overhead. Also included is an 8” subwoofer.

The Hisense 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos sound bar also supports DTS:X, 4K and HDR pass-through, plus HDMI, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, optical and coaxial connections.

Also new to market, the entry-level 2.1 channel Sound Bar with wireless subwoofer features Dolby Digital and DTS technology.

With the wireless 6.5” subwoofer, the sound bar has been designed to replicate deep bass with a 40Hz-20kHz frequency response. It also offers an array of connection methods including HDMI, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, optical and coaxial.
