Hisense has released the L5 Series of ultra short-throw laser projectors with Smart TV functionality.

The series boasts a 100” ambient light-rejecting screen with true-to-life images that Hisense say exceed standard 4K colour range. Additionally, built-in speakers with dbx-tv cinematic sound give users a full home theatre solution.

It comes with the latest iteration of Hisense’s proprietary VIDAA operating system, VIDAA U4, which comes with all Hisense users can expect and enjoy in their Smart TVs, such as an easy-to-use interface that leverages artificial intelligence and intuitive voice control.

Users can easily navigate popular apps via the television’s in-built Amazon Alexa and universal search functionality, without requiring a third-party device. Not only will viewers have access to endless hours of entertainment via an array of streaming services such as Stan, Netflix, Prime Video and ABC iView, they will also have the option of using
the 100L5F for free-to-air TV viewing thanks to its built in TV tuner; a feature that sets it apart from conventional projectors on the market.

The L5’s blue laser light source, or X-FUSION light source, produces razor-sharp, precise images, all while avoiding unwanted light dispersion, offering a more natural viewing experience. Fast-moving images appear smooth and precise, making it the ideal source for watching sports, enjoying fast-action movies and gaming.

4K UHD Picture with DLP Technology: The beautiful 4K picture is powered by DLP Theatre Technology. Together with Hisense patented technologies, the L5 brings laser-focused detail and brightness only seen in cinemas to your home. It’s also long lasting, giving users to 25,000 hours of entertainment without needing to replace the bulb.

The L5 can be set up in a range of rooms with a 100” ambient light-rejecting screen giving users the desired viewing experience without the constraints.
