Hisense Dual Cell available from mid-September
Hisense has announced that its revolutionary Dual Cell television technology will be available from mid-September.
The new 65SX model will deliver the deepest blacks ever seen on a Hisense LED screen.

The technology was first revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this year. Dual Cell technology has two layers of LCD, the first being a greyscale or monochrome layer controlling luminance, while the second cell controls colour.
The 65SX is further enhanced by Dolby Vision HDR, an advanced imaging technology that transforms the viewing experience by generating ultra-vivid picture quality with incredible brightness, contrast, colour, and detail.
The unit also harnesses Hisense’s sophisticated processing technology, Hi-View Engine, Depth Enhancer and AI 4K upscaling engine. It also includes Dolby Atmos Audio and is equipped with the latest iteration of Hisense’s proprietary VIDAA operating system, with built-in Amazon Alexa.
Hisense head of marketing, Andre Iannuzzi says that the new technology uses a highly complex composition and design to deliver a quality of colour, contrast, brightness and accuracy that Hisense believes sets a new standard in LED TVs.
“ We’re incredibly excited to be the first market globally to introduce this game-changing innovation and hope Australians realise the benefits Dual Cell offers as a new leading premium TV technology.”
He adds that Australians have a strong appreciation for technologies that can elevate their lifestyle, particularly given current stay-at-home orders stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
