Designed for rooms that don’t require a larger flat screen, the T28 skinny LED LCD TV 19-inch and 22-inch television sets will be available in-store from May 8, followed by the 26-inch and 32-inch models in June and the 40-inch model on July 1.

The T28 Series features thin edge lit LED technology and allows playback via USB, so customers can play Divx and Mpeg movies and music through their TV.

It also includes a PVR function allowing viewers to record live television through an external hard drive, to be played back at their convenience. The hard drive is sold separately.

The T28 Series also features a new Hisense auto backlight control on models 26-inch and above, which saves energy by adjusting the LCD panel to deliver optimum luminance levels to suit the lighting conditions in the room.

Hisense Australia head of marketing Andre Iannuzzi says the release of T28 skinny LED LCD TV range adds to a growing range of top end Hisense products, including the ultra-thin T18 Series – 42 and 47-inch LED TVs.
