Chowmainsoft has launched a Hisense VIDAA driver for Control4 driver, developed in partnership between Hisense and Chowmainsoft.

The driver is designed for professional smart home installations to provide fast and reliable IP-based control of features such as power, volume, input switching, transport control, channel selection and app launching.

The VIDAA Control4 driver supports dynamic feedback to ensure real-time synchronisation between the Control4 interface and the TV’s actual status.

It’s compatible with several VIDAA-powered Hisense TV models and the driver makes is simpler for installers to deliver a fully integrated and high-quality entertainment experience. This means a centralised control of TVs for home owners as part of the unified smart home setup.

“By working with Chowmainsoft, we’re upgrading smart home integration and making Hisense TVs even more accessible and attractive to the custom install market, providing homeowners with a premium, unified entertainment experience,” Hisense UK head of strategy & GTM TV Robert Andrews says.

Chowmainsoft managing director Alan Chow says collaborating with Hisense UK will help meet the global demand from integrators for seamless TV integration.

“We’re excited to have partnered with Hisense to deliver a reliable Control4 driver that meets the needs of both professionals and end users,” he says.

“This launch is just the beginning, and we’re actively working with Hisense on additional integrations across the other major automation platforms we support to deliver a truly connected smart home experience.”
