Harman Kardon AVR 347 AV receiver
Harman Kardon has announced its new 7.1-channel AVR 347 AV receiver. The AVR 347 includes HDMI connectivity, includes multi-input HDMI video switching and is capable of passing high-definition video signals up to 1080p through HDMI outputs. In addition, it incorporates DCDi by Faroudja technology. This directional correlational de-interlacing provides upscaled and enhanced 720p video output from 576i and 576p video sources via HDMI outputs on the receiver. The AVR 347 also features audio processing and signal repeater functionality on its HDMI inputs, and video cross-conversion circuitry, which converts all S-video and composite video sources to HDMI and component video output.
