GoldenEarGoldenEar has announced the Triton Two+ Tower and Three+ Tower speakers.

The Triton series are most widely known for using a High-Velocity Folded Ribbon tweeter design which propagates sound waves and moves the air by squeezing it with their accordion-like pleated diaphragm making for greater efficiency, lower distortion, improved dynamics and a superbly detailed and accurate sound.

The Triton Two+ Tower encompasses many of the technologies developed for the Triton One Tower including: a fully balanced crossover design, high-end film capacitors, redesigned midrange/upper-bass drivers and a reprogrammed DSP.

Triton Two+ Tower

Standing at 48” tall, these speakers boast a powerful built-in subwoofer section that is fueled by a 1,200W GoldenEar Force Field digital amplifier. This is driven by two 5″ x 9″ front-mounted quadratic subwoofer bass drivers coupled to dual opposing side-mounted 7″ x 10″ quadratic planar infrasonic bass radiators.

Triton Three+ Tower

The Triton Three+ Tower is the little brother of the Triton Two+, but by no means does this mean that it compromises on quality.

It still features some of the fantastic technologies in the Stereophile Speaker of the Year Triton One Tower, but stands at a mere 44″ high. Some of these technologies include built-in powered subwoofer that includes an integral 800W GoldenEar digital amplifier and high power subwoofer driver.
