Electronics hardware manufacturer Gefen has announced that its second-generation line of AV Over IP products is now available for pre-order.

The new line-up introduces enhancements to Gefen’s previous products and aim to provide integrators with in-demand solutions, including a new KM Emulation feature which facilitates real-time, simultaneous keyboard and mouse control of each source from all connected workstations, eliminating the inherent limitations of earlier systems.

Gefen product manager Jason Fitzgerald commented: “The Gen 2.0 KVM, AV, and audio products offer improved performance and enhanced functionality such as 4K Ultra HD with HDR support, built-in scalers, video-wall control, independent USB, RS-232, IR, audio routing, and backward-compatibility with first-generation products.”

The 12 new products are on display at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam. Gefen products are distributed in Australia by Amber Technology.
