The new GefenTV dgital audio decoder with Dolby allows any movie or television program broadcasting in 5.1 Dolby digital audio to be decoded, and output in analogue two-channel (left/right) format.

This allows the audio from a set-top box, media center PC or component video source to be heard on an existing pair of analogue speakers. The GefenTV digital audio decoder with Dolby supports any audio encoded in the Dolby 5.1 surround sound format, decoding it and delivering it in the standard two-channel format.

The digital audio decoder provides two inputs (S/PDIF, TOSlink), and supplies a two-channel analogue audio (left/right) output. Users can switch between the two inputs using a selector on the decoder. With this feature, both a set-top box and a computer can be connected and switched to any two-channel audio system.

With a built-in digital to analogue converter, a digital interpolation filter and support for up to 6 channels of audio encoded in Dolby Digital, this Decoder provides one of the most robust audio conversion solutions available today.

It eliminates the need to upgrade audio equipment and can lengthen the lifespan of an expensive analogue audio system already in use.
