Furman adds local IP control to BlueBOLT
Furman has announced the introduction of the BlueBOLT CV-2, a new interface that includes energy management features from the Furman F1500-UPS and Panamax PRO.
The CV-2 allows integrators to remotely monitor, reboot and power-cycle connected equipment and now it extends to devices that are on networks that don’t have cloud connection.
“For many commercial installations, a cloud connection is either impractical or not recommended for security reasons. The new CV-2 gives these installations the BlueBOLT scheduling and management control, but accessed locally through a set of embedded web pages,” says Core Brands vice president of product management Mike Jordan.

The sole purpose of the BlueBOLT CV-2 is to give locally controlled BlueBOLT functionality to the Furman F1500 Uninterruptible Power Supply and Voltage Regulator, as well as the Panamax M4315-PRO, M4320-PRO and F1500-UPS.
The most convenient aspect is the cloud connection is only needed for set up and then all can be controlled and managed from the embedded web pages.
