The Tech Talks program at Integrate 2026 spans over 20 sessions across three days at ICC Sydney, covering AI, networked AV, immersive technology, audio, broadcast, collaboration and the business of AV.

A Tech Talks pass is $295 (plus GST) and covers all three days. For anyone trying to narrow that down, here are four picks that sit at the centre of the conversations the Australia and New Zealand AV industry is having right now.

New for 2026: The AI in AV mini conference

For the first time, Integrate is dedicating a two-hour block of the Tech Talks program to a single, structured deep-dive on AI in AV. The AI in AV Mini Conference runs on Wednesday, 2 September from 2:00pm to 3:50pm and is built to give the AV community a grounded, end-to-end view of how AI is showing up across the industry, what is actually working, and what to plan for next.
The mini conference is included in a Tech Talks pass. For organisations, a standalone pass to the mini conference is available for $200 (plus GST), with group rates of $150 (plus GST) per ticket on a minimum order of ten.

The session moves through six parts, each tackling a difference angle on AI in practice:

Welcome from Program Host (2:00-2:05pm) sets the context for AI’s growing role in AV, framing it as a practical capability rather than a disruptive threat, and aligning expectations around real world value, responsible adoption and skills relevance.

Keynote: The AI Shift Reshaping AV (2:05-2:25pm) demystifies AI for the AV community by separating hype from reality. It explores where AI is genuinely transforming AV, from operations to user experience, and where fundamentals like system design, human creativity and trusted partnerships remain unchanged.

Tech Talk 1: AI Inside the System: Smarter AV Operations & Support (2:25-2:45pm) focuses on how AI is improving the efficiency and reliability of AV systems behind the scenes. From predictive maintenance and smarter monitoring to AI-assisted troubleshooting, the session highlights practical tools already in use across enterprise and venue environments.

Tech Talk 2: From Screens to Stories: AI-Driven Content & Experiences (2:45-3:05pm) looks at AI on the experience-facing side of AV, including generative content, adaptive digital signage and data-informed experience design. The focus is on how AI supports creativity and personalisation while reinforcing the importance of human intent, ethics and storytelling.

Panel Discussion: AI Reality Check: Adoption, Trust, Skills & Ethics (3:05-3:45pm) brings industry leaders from integration, technology and end-user organisations together to share honest perspectives on adopting AI in AV. The discussion covers what is working, where challenges remain and how teams are building trust around data, security and reliability.

Closing (3:45-3:50pm) distils the key insights from the mini conference into clear, actionable takeaways for evaluating AI solutions, prioritising real problems over trends, and planning next steps for learning and adoption.

Taken together, the AI in AV Mini Conference offers something the AV community has been asking for: a single, structured program that goes beyond the keynote-level conversation and gets into the operational, creative and ethical realities of putting AI to work.

Plan your three days

The full Tech Talks program runs across all three days of Integrate 2026 at ICC Sydney. A Tech Talks pass is $295 (plus GST) and covers all three days, including the AI in AV Mini Conference. Standalone access to the AI in AV Mini Conference is $200 (plus GST), with a group rate of $150 (plus GST) per ticket on a minimum order of ten.

Visitor registration is free and covers entry to the show floor, the Security Exhibition & Conference and the Fire Security Expo.

Intelligent spaces: AI, data and the future of AV experiences
Wednesday, 2 September, 11:00-11:50am
Built environments are changing, and with them, the role of AV. What was once focused on systems and delivery is increasingly about how spaces operate, respond and support the people inside them. This session takes a grounded look at how new technologies and data-led approaches are shaping real AV environments today, from early design decisions through to day to-day operations.

The panel brings together industry perspectives and end user experience to explore what is working, what is evolving and how organisations can make informed choices as AV becomes a more strategic part of the built environment. For anyone working on workplace, campus, venue or public-space projects, this is the session that sets the frame for the rest of the show.

AV as a service (AVaaS): From capex to continuous experience
Thursday, 3 September, 10:00-10:50am
AV as a Service is changing how organisations design, deploy and maintain technology-enabled experiences. This panel brings integrators, end users and technology providers together to unpack what AVaaS really means: Moving beyond products to performance, outcomes and ongoing value. Expect real-world use cases, business model shifts from CapEx to OpEx, and a candid look at the operational realities of managed AV environments. Attendees will leave with practical insight into when AVaaS works best, what the key success factors are and what the shift means for the AV industry over the next few years.
Essential viewing for integrators rethinking commercial models and for end users weighing up procurement decisions.

Designing the future with networked AV
Thursday, 3 September, 12:00-12:50pm
Networked AV is now a design, business and operational conversation, not just a technical one. This panel explores how AVoIP is reshaping system architecture, workflows and long-term strategy across enterprise, higher education, venues and beyond. Panellists share real-world lessons, emerging trends and applied innovations that connect technology choices with design intent, business outcomes and day-to-day operations. With the industry continuing to converge with IT, this session is built to help AV professionals make smarter decisions about where networked AV is heading and what that means for the way they design and deliver systems.

Registration for Integrate 2026 is now open.
