Speaker manufacturer Focal has announced two new built-in speaker ranges, with the introduction of the entry-level 100 series and additional products to be added to its mid-range 300 series.

The 100 series speakers will replace the discontinued Custom and Chorus ranges and incorporate new Focal technologies, such as Polyglass cones and aluminium inverted dome tweeters.

Three additional speaker models will be added to the 300 series. These additions include two outdoor speakers, one in-wall subwoofer, as well as a 19” (48.3cm) rack format external amplifier.

Both the 100 and 300 speaker series offer a range of in-wall, in-ceiling and LCR models, and are designed to be compatible with stereo, AV and ambient music applications.  All accessories required for the installation of the new range, such as the pre-mounting kit and fire barrier box, are already available for purchase.
