Two new cables have been released for the Extron TeamWork 4K collaboration system.

Extron has announced the immediate availability of the USBC-HDMI SM and the USBC DP SM Show Me Cables which provide the user interface USB C sources, allowing USB-C connections along with HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini DisplyPort, or VGA sources.

USBC HDMI SM provides easy USB C source selection with connectivity to an HDMI input on a TeamWork switcher, while the USBC DP SM allows USB-C source connectivity to a DisplayPort input in a TeamWork collaboration system.

Simple to use, you simply connect the cable to your source device and press the Share button.

The cables are designed for long life and reliability in a variety of environments. The cables are available in 1.8m and 3.6m lengths, and meet section 508 accessibility standards. They are certified for use with Extron AVEdge and Cable Cubby enclosures.

Extron vice president of sales and marketing Casey Hall says: “Customers have been asking for a Show Me cable that can easily connect a USB-C device in an Extron TeamWork collaboration system. These new Show Me cables provide AV industry consultants, system designers, and integrators more flexibility in creating fully custom TeamWork systems for any collaboration application.”
