The SSI 100 is compatible with Extron control systems, calendaring platforms and room occupancy sensors and licensing is not required.

The two-sided acrylic lens is combined with multi-colour backlighting, which blends simplicity with architectural appeal.
Wall-mount and ceiling-mount versions are also available. An optional engraved lens allows the status indicator to be customised with information such as a room name, classroom number or company logo.
The SSI 100 can be powered locally or through a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable.
Extron chief marketing officer Casey Hall emphasises the versatility of its latest status indicator.
“The broad range of practical uses of our new SSI 100 make it perfect for any application where at-a-glance status can enhance workflows,” he says.
“In addition to larger-scale developments, the SSI 100 is perfect for standalone applications where it can indicate room status using an occupancy sensor without the need for additional software for Extron products.”
The SSI 100 operates in Secure Platform Device (SPD) when integrated with Extron Pro Series Controllers and can be configured via Extron GCP or CSDU software to communicate room status effectively.
For Extron Room Scheduling and Wayfinding users, the engraved and illuminated SSI 100 can display room names and the status in bright green or red to indicate availability through direct calendar server communication using Room Agent software.
