Extron has released the FOX3 Matrix 560x, a modular matrix switcher providing high-performance switching of 4K/60 video, audio, USB, control and 3D Sync over fibre optic cable.

Expandable in sizes from 8×8 up to 560×560, the modular matrix switcher features an integrated IPCP Pro Q xi control processor.

“We’ve expanded our award-winning FOX3 Matrix fiber optic distribution platform designed, engineered and manufactured to meet the most demanding requirements of critical video and audio distribution applications with our FOX3 Matrix 560x,” Extron chief marketing officer Casey Hall says.

“With an I/O size scalable from 8 to 560 ports, the FOX3 Matrix 560x is ideal for large installations in various applications including government, military, medical, entertainment, education and any other environments that require reliable and secure distribution of AV signals.”

The FOX3 matrix’ advanced security standards and Gigabit Ethernet ports ensure compatibility with Extron IPCP Pro control processors and TouchLink Pro touch panels using standard network infrastructure, and Dante, DMP Expansion and analogue audio I/O ports enable audio embedding and de-embedding.

The matrix has many additional integrator-friendly features, such as redundant hot-swappable power supplies and real-time system monitoring.  From point-to-point extension to fully non-blocking matrix applications up to 2000×2000 and beyond, FOX3 Systems securely delivers performance and reliability to satisfy even the most discerning users.
