Extron launches DTP3 T 211 USB-C transmitter for long-distance AV extension
Extron has introduced the DTP3 T 211, a long-distance transmitter designed to send USB-C video and bidirectional RS-232 signals up to 100m over shielded CAT 6A cable.
The transmitter supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 with HDCP 2.3, transporting all supported signals uncompressed for maximum image quality and low latency. When used with the Extron UPI 100 power injector, the DTP3 T 211 can deliver up to 100W of charging power to a connected USB-C source. An HDMI loop-through output is also included for local monitoring.

“The DTP3 T 211 expands design options for USB-C connectivity and extension within DTP Systems,” Extron chief marketing officer Casey Hall says.
“Its HDMI loop‑out and ability to support USB-C device charging delivers increased functionality and convenience.”
The DTP3 T 211 supports USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode video with HDR, Deep Colour up to 12-bit, 3D and embedded HD lossless audio formats. The DTP3 output can be configured to carry video, embedded audio and bidirectional RS-232 to an HDBaseT-enabled display and the unit is backward compatible with first-generation DTP products.
Its compact enclosure and remote power capability allow discreet installation in lecterns, under tables or other space-constrained locations.
