The new GlobalViewer Enterprise – GVE version 2.8 is available now from Extron Electronics.

AV technology leader Extron announced the product, which helps manage enterprise systems more efficiently. Features include support for SMP series streaming media products, web interface access and touchlink scheduling panels (TLS).

There is easy access to the web interface for an SMP, which monitors its remaining recording time, tracks the calendar connection status for TLS panels, and monitors a range of other statuses and offline times for these new products.

GVE software simplifies AV system resource management with intuitive control for hundreds of common AV tasks. GVE provides a solid, flexible way to manage, monitor, and control nearly any device over a standard network for any amount of rooms.

GlobalViewer Enterprise offers options that streamline system setup. Simply import existing control systems using the Global Configurator project files on IP Link, IP Link Pro control processors, and MediaLink and MediaLink Plus controllers. For programmed systems, the Global Scripter module provides the code needed to tie the system to GVE. Afterwards, monitoring and controlling systems across the enterprise is as easy as point and click.
