Elite Screens Japan is excited to announce the appointment of William Chen to the position of managing director.  Elite Screen’s Japanese facility is located in Tokyo and covers warehousing, sales, distribution and service through the nation and the neighbouring areas.

Elite Screen president Jeff Chen explains the importance of continuing to keep up with what’s happening in the industry and thinks that the appointment of William will aid the direction of the company.

“It has always been important to maintain a finger on the pulse of industry trends as well as cultivate strong relationships with customers region-by-region. William Chen also appreciates the value of group synergy and how buying habits change from channel to channel,” says Jeff.

William brings to the table a plethora of experience in the AV channels and most recently a 15 year tenure with Sony. During his time at Sony, he directed product sales, marketing, retail design and corporate training in strategic marketing.

In the four short years he has spent at Elite Screens, William’s impact has been felt with the regional projector sales doubling.
