“The biggest problem with projecting directly on a whiteboard is that a whiteboard is not designed for picture quality which results in a resoundingly poor image. Our magnetic and adhesive padded Insta-DE/DEM products have been successful but our customers still insisted on another variant with just a film-backing,” says Elite Screens, Inc marketing manager David Rodgers.

“The Insta-DE2 Screen’s 1.1 gain material is easily connected to a smooth wall/window surface instantly converting it into a quality projection and dry-erase writing surface and its film backing is exactly what integrators have needed for some of their jobs.”

The Insta-Screen DE2 is made with Elite’s GREENGUARD certified Versawhite whiteboard-projection screen material. It is a 1.1 gain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) projection surface that has a firm but pliable plastic-film backing for added durability. It connects to windows and other smooth surfaces by use of either spray adhesive or double-sided tape. To professionally format the Insta-DE2, an adhesive velour matte for all four sides is provided. This enhances the general aesthetics of the product in addition to enhancing perceived contrast. Products are available in a 84” (4:3 NTSC aspect ratio), 97” (16:10 WXGA aspect Ratio) and 105” (16:9 HDTV aspect ratio). Larger sizes include 4.2’ x 10-30’ large training room sizes.

Other variants of the “Versawhite” or “Insta-Screen DE” products include adhesive-padded or magnetic backings.
