Electro-Voice has launched the EVOLVE 30M, a compact column loudspeaker system with on-board mixer, DSP and effects/mix functions. The system includes a speaker array, a two-piece pole connector, a backpack case and a powerful subwoofer.

The full-range column array and its six lightweight 2.8” neodymium drivers provide ultra-wide 120° coverage through proprietary waveguides; array-formed 40° asymmetrical vertical coverage ensures acoustic output is directed towards both sitting and standing audience members. Its enclosure is constructed with an ergonomic aluminum handle.

Its 10” subwoofer is housed in a 15mm wood enclosure with a high-efficiency laminar-flow vent design to add to its rigidity and acoustical performance.

A Class-D amplifier provides up to 1000W of output power: 500W to the subwoofer and 500W to the column array. The speakers are protected by a black  powder-coated 18-gauge steel grille with a white option available in Spring of this year.

Electro-Voice collaborated with Dynacord to create the integrated fully-featured, fully-configurable digital mixer that hosts multiple outputs including four  XLR/TRS combo mic/line inputs, one XLR/TRS combo stereo line input, one RCA, 1x 3.5 mm stereo and one Hi-Z instrument input.

Users can control one of the most complete feature sets in its class including an eight-channel digital mixer, studio-quality onboard effects and remote control of all audio, effects and mix functions with the next-generation Electro-Voice QuickSmart mobile application. The fully-configurable app has an intuitive, easy-to-work interface and uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) for adjustments which can control up tot six EVOLVE 30M systems at once.
