Chowmain Software has released the Dooya Connector Bridge IP controlled driver for Control4 providing integration of Dooya’s RF uni-directional shades, bi-directional shades, curtains and other motors including tilt + top down / bottom up (TDBU) shades.

Operating in the Home & Building and Access Activities, Dooya is the leading Chinese brand in tubular motors, particularly at the entry-level. Dooya specialises in the design of control systems for rolling shutters, rolling doors, curtains and interior blinds.

Dooya is part of the Somfy Group’s portfolio of complimentary brands. Together, they cover most automation needs for openings and closures of homes and buildings around the world. They also allow the group to service its distribution channels – manufacturers, installers, DIY superstores, e-commerce, architects – with suitable solutions.

This driver also supports manufacturers who have rebranded Dooya motors as their own product.

This driver supports the integration of multiple bridges in a single home up to the maximum number of shades per bridge.

If bi-directional shades use batteries, the driver provides battery mAh feedback to allow the integrator to specify low battery mAh which will fire an event on low battery.

In addition, the solution can provide automatic email notification and automatic push notification on low battery (requires 4sight) with selection via a dropdown box in the driver’s properties.

The solution comes with 5 drivers.

• Connector Bridge Driver – Used for shade discovery and communications to one or more bridges on your network (note only one required).
• Uni Directional Shade Driver – One Way Driver. Supports Up / Down / Stop commands
• Bi Directional Shade Driver – Two Way Driver. Supports Up / Down / Stop / Level commands + feedback along with battery level.
• Bi Directional TDBU (Top Down, Bottom Up) Shade Driver – Two Way Driver. Supports Up / Down / Stop / Level commands for both top motor and bottom motors + feedback along with battery level.
• Bi Directional Tilt Shade Driver – Two Way Driver. Supports Up / Down / Stop / Level / Tilt commands + feedback along with battery level.
