Dirac has expanded support for its Dirac Live Room Correction platform across additional Denon AV receivers, bringing advanced acoustic calibration technology to a broader range of home theatre systems.

The update adds compatibility for the Denon AVR-X2900H, AVR-X3900H, AVR-X2900H DAB and AVC-X3900H receivers, allowing users to integrate Dirac’s room correction software into both dedicated cinema rooms and everyday entertainment spaces.

The technology is designed to correct both magnitude and phase distortions caused by room acoustics, improving audio clarity, imaging precision and consistency across multiple seating positions.

“Great sound isn’t defined by components alone, it’s defined by how those components interact with the space,” Dirac vice president and head of consumer electronics Rikard Hellerfelt says.

“Expanding Dirac Live to the Denon receiver lineup continues to make advanced room correction more accessible, giving more listeners the ability to hear their systems as they were meant to perform, regardless of the listening space or its complexities.”

The newly supported receivers span both mid-range and higher-end home theatre configurations, with the AVR-X2900H offering 7.2-channel processing and the AVR-X3900H supporting 11.4-channel processing alongside four independent subwoofer outputs.

The higher-end models are suited to pairing with its Dirac Live Bass Control and Active Room Treatment technologies, which are designed to improve low-frequency response and overall room integration.
