Dirac’s Live Active Room Treatment (ART) is available on a wide range of Denon and Marantz AV receivers and preamplifiers. This provides users with more options to improve low-frequency performance in home cinema and audio setups.

Dirac confirms that all Denon and Marantz models currently supporting Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control will also be compatible with Dirac Live ART. The technology extends its existing suite of software tools by enabling advanced low-frequency spatial correction across an entire system.

Dirac vice president and head of business development, Fredric Tapper, acknowledges the high status of Denon and Marantz and how the expansion benefits all companies.

“As two of the most trusted and widely adopted brands in home theatre and audio, Denon and Marantz are among the first to feature this breakthrough technology, bringing studio-grade precision and innovation to a broader audience,” he says.

“Dirac Live ART unlocks an entirely new level of performance for Denon and Marantz systems.”

Dirac Live ART was introduced in 2023 as a professional-grade addition to its room optimisation platform. The software builds on the capabilities of Dirac Live Room Correction, which balances magnitude and phase response and Dirac Live Bass Control, which provides subwoofer optimisation.
