Denon AVR-2311 and AVR-3311AV recievers
HDMI 1.4a for 3D and more
Both receivers feature HDMI 1.4a to provide 3D pass-through capability, audio return channel, deep colour, x.v.colour, auto lip sync and HDMI control functions.
A one-cable connection to the television is now possible thanks to the audio return channel capability that brings the TV’s audio back to the receiver, combined with the receivers’ ability to upscale any video source to 1080p and output it over HDMI. The video processing is handled by a hi-bit Anchor Bay ABT2015 chipset to ensure pristine HD images from digital and analogue video sources.
The receivers also feature full colour on-screen displays that are output via the same HDMI cable so users are able to control every aspect of their system from the comfort of the lounge. The AVR-2311 has one HDMI output, while the AVR-3311 has two HDMI outputs which can be selected from the remote control.

The iPod or iPhone can be played in other zones using the receiver’s remote control, further enhancing the multi-room capabilities of these receivers. Control and navigation of iPod and iPhone is made simple by using the receiver’s remote control and following the colour on-screen display. iPad, iPhone and iTouch users can download a free app for controlling the AVR-3311 from the iTunes store.
